Jack Walker

Edwin J. Walker, Jr. (Jack)


One of the founding partners of Walker Lambe, Jack Walker has been practicing law for nearly 40 years, serving clients and their families in matters including: estate planning, trust and estate administration, tax planning, business succession planning, insurance planning, and representation of non-profit organizations. Stephen C. Rhudy


After more than 25 years in private practice, most of it at Walker Lambe, Steve Rhudy�s principal practice endeavors are in estate planning, estate, gift and income tax planning, charitable gift planning, and estate and trust administration. He also assists clients with business and intellectual property transactions, and provides legal counsel to not-for-profit organizations. Steve had also been a lecturer at N. C. Ralph McCaughan

Ralph L. McCaughan


Ralph McCaughan's law career spans 40 years, beginning in private practice in Florida. In 1988 Ralph joined Walker Lambe where he is now "of counsel" at the firm. Ralph's legal practice is focused on estate planning and trust law. He is also Associate University Counsel for Duke University, where he is principally involved in technology transfer, corporate finance, and charitable giving involving estates and trusts. Kate Buchanan

Kate B. Buchanan


Kate Buchanan has helped many Triangle Area families with estate planning. Given Kate's experience in university development and philanthropy, it is no surprise that her practice also includes helping individuals and families with charitable giving. Kate now serves as the Assistant Dean for Alumni & Development for the Duke University School of Law.
