Angela J. Towns
Angela J. Towns joined the Walker Lambe team in 2009 as a legal assistant in our Business Corporate practice. Angela graduated magna cum laude from Saint Augustine's College in Raleigh, NC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management. She is currently working on a Master's degree at the George Washington University (online) in Washington, D.C. Angela comes to Walker Lambe with extensive legal experience attained in earlier years with the law firm of Parker Poe Adams and Bernstein, and later, Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice. Angela has also served in the nonprofit sector by working with community economic development practitioners across the state to create programs and services to improve the lives of young people, their families and their communities.
In her spare time, Angela partners with youth agencies statewide by conducting workshops on basic financial literacy. Angela and her husband, Reginald, formed the N.C. Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy (NCJC), an affiliate of the Washington, D.C.-based National Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy. The coalition is comprised of individuals, nonprofits, government agencies, private corporations and educators seeking to improve the personal financial literacy of North Carolina's youth.
Angela is the proud mother of Victoria, a member of the United States Air Force, as well as Adrian and one step-daughter, Lauren.
